Geoff has always been captivated by the art of storytelling. From a young age, he quickly absorbed the content of a variety of books and films. As Geoff grew up, he found that having a creative outlet was the perfect way to express his thoughts and imagination. Geoff quickly fell in love with screenwriting and hasn't looked back since, committing himself to a career as a professional original screenplay writer.

Geoff's grandmother, a Wiradjuri woman, was one of the "stolen generation". This has led him on a personal journey into the dark heart of racism. He has been Head Writer on two acclaimed television series for black audiences in South Africa - Isidingo and Khululeka.

Geoff has guest lectured in screenwriting technique and structure at university level in Australia, the UK as well as South Africa. His lectures have been described as a deep exploration of the three act structure and character archetypes that underpins all great screenplays. Two of his former students went on to win both an Emmy and a BAFTA.
